While photography has always been an interest of mine, these days I consider myself kind of a "shoot and shoo" photographer. I see something that catches my eye, grab my camera (usually located on the passenger seat of my car under my children's snacks, sticker books, water bottles, etc), take a quick photo, and then move on with my day....or their day as it seems to be now. My boys have begun to appreciate my need to slow down and take photos now that they are getting a bit older. Especially if the photos are of the ocean, the waterfront, or wildlife. My 5 year old seems to have more time for taking photos than I do these days and he often has my cannon hanging from his neck. As a full-time teacher, a fuller-time mom, and a lover of nature and travel, I thought maybe it was time to make some photos public and see what happens. We are fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful places that I know and not a day goes by that I don't see something that summarizes my love for this area...on a good day I am able to safely pull over and snap a photo!
